How to find us

Elis David Almshouses
Duppas Hill Terrace, South Croydon, CR0 4BT

By car:
Please note that access to the Elis David Almshouses is via Duppas Hill Lane. Approach from the west on the A232 (Duppas Hill Road) coming towards central Croydon and take the slip road (Duppas Hill Lane) at the approach to the Croydon Flyover (see map to the right). Parking is available on the forecourt of the Almshouses. Enter the car park via the second barrier (the first is the exit). Please obtain a token before leaving for the exit barrier.

By tram:
The nearest stop is at Reeves Corner, about ten minutes’ walk from the Almshouses.

By bus:
The nearest stop (route 154) is on Duppas Hill Lane, approximately 50 metres from the Almshouses, for travel from the centre of Croydon, or from the direction of Waddon / Wallington.

By train:
There are frequent trains to and from East Croydon station, and Waddon station is within walking distance. See the Transport for London website for details: www.tfl.gov.uk.



Mary Tate’s Almshouses
14 Cricket Green, Mitcham, Surrey, CR4 4LA

By car:
Mary Tate’s Almshouses is on the left hand side of the A239 (south side of Cricket Green) heading towards the A217 (London Road). Parking is available on the opposite side of Cricket Green.

By tram:
The Mitcham Tramlink stop is about ten minutes walk from the Almshouses.

By bus:
A number of buses stop around Cricket Green. See the Transport for London website for details: www.tfl.gov.uk.
